Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
  • 1 bunch fresh mint leaves
  • peel of 1 Chilean navel orange
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed juice from Chilean clementines and or navel oranges
  • 13 ounces (400 ML) chilled Tonic water

Directions

In a large sturdy mason jar, muddle grated ginger, sugar, along with 24 mint leaves.

Using a vegetable peeler, cut 4 wide strips from top to tail from one navel orange. Wrap the peel strip around a chopstick to make it curl. Set aside for garnish.

Juice clementines and/or navels until you have 1 cup fresh juice. Add juice to the muddled ginger/mint/sugar mixture. Stir.

Pour ginger/mint/juice mixture into 4 glasses. Add ice. Fill glasses with chilled tonic. Stir and top with citrus twist.

Drink right away.
