Ingredients

  • 10 – 12 Chilean mandarin oranges
  • 1 Chilean lemon
  • 1 cup white sugar

Directions

  1. Peel mandarins and remove the white pith as much as possible and chop mandarin segments into small pieces.
  2. Zest and juice the lemon and add to orange slices.
  3. In large saucepan, add in oranges. Over high heat, bring mixture to a full rolling boil, stirring frequently. Add sugar and stir constantly until boiling again.
  4. Remove from heat and pour into hot jars.
  5. Allow jars to rest for 5 minutes, then remove and allow to cool.

Embrace mandarins in season with a decadent sweet jam. Perfect to add to your toasts in the morning or if you’re feeling fancy, you can easily turn it into a syrup with waffles or pancakes.

Keep in the fridge and enjoy
